An Alpha Male & A Brave, Feisty Heroine = A Captivating Story

Cormac is the second book in the Dark Irish Mafia Romance (Dangerous Doms) Series by Jane Henry. It can be read as a standalone. Cormac is an intriguing story with many twists and turns. There is danger, revenge, passion, and love. It will keep you captivated from the beginning.

Cormac is the second eldest brother in the McCarthy Irish Mafia family. He must wed a daughter from the Martin family/clan to save the families from going to war. Cormac knows that he must do his duty, but is not sure what to expect of his future bride given how untrustworthy the rival clan is.

After being told that she is to marry as a form of payment to the McCarthy family/clan and knowing how violent her own family can be, Aileen doesn’t anticipate the husband and family that she marries into. Aileen faces every aspect of her life, new challenge and threat with her head held high and with bravery and courage. She discovers that Cormac is a dangerous man as well as a dominant, protective & possessive alpha male.

Together Cormac and Aileen have chemistry and a connection from the start, but Aileen is hesitant to give in or allow herself to fall for Cormac. Aileen is a sassy, feisty, and clever person. This story has suspense, danger, action, intrigue, and romance. Cormac and Aileen’s story was hard to put down. I loved how Cormac and Aileen learned to trust, love, and rely on each other as their relationship grows throughout the story. It was wonderful being about to see some of the other characters from the first book and can’t wait for the next book. If you love alpha males with a sweet side and feisty women, you will love this book. I highly recommend Cormac.
