I hate to think of myself as a runner. I’m more the type of person to stand my ground and deal with problems head on. But when you find out everything you knew about the man you’re with is a lie, and you find out who he really is, the only thing you can do is run.

Bruised and more than a little wary of what the future will hold, I’m hoping to make a fresh start in Dogwood Ridge, Tennessee. It’s the last place my ex will look for me, and there’s something special and quaint about this small town. The last thing I need is to get too comfortable, but from the moment I meet Opal, I’ve found a friend for life.

The one thing I didn’t anticipate is her pulling me into the world of the Saint’s Outlaw Motorcycle Club, a world I’m not prepared for. It’s out of my hands when Opal’s brother and VP, Snake, takes one look at me and claims me as his own. He has no idea the danger I’m bringing to his doorstep and once he does, he’ll put his club and his brothers first.

I don’t do complicated. There are only a few things I value in this life—my sister, my club, and my brothers. Beyond that, it’s all just noise to be ignored. Until Opal makes a new friend and brings her to the clubhouse.

Graycie is a complication I don’t need. She has fear in her eyes and is looking over her shoulder like she’s running from something. Instead of making me want to run, it makes me want her even more. I can protect her, make her happy, and give her the family she needs.

Once I claim my woman, complicated seems to be around every corner. Not only is her past looking for her, but everyone has an opinion about us being together. They’ll learn quickly that I take care of what is mine, and Graycie is mine. She’s my old lady and the only woman who belongs on the back of my bike.

Dogwood Ridge is a small town on the wrong side of the tracks, at least when compared to Sweetwater Valley just over the ridge. Having the Saint’s Outlaws MC call Dogwood Ridge home doesn’t help. The men who ride with SOMC cuts on their backs will do anything for their brothers, families, and town. While the code they live by, written in blood and violence, isn’t for everyone, they stand by it with everything they are. Some of the men of the SOMC: DR are looking for love and others are running from it, but either way when they find their one, they’ll never let her go.
