 Melina & Rowan = Intriguing & Sexy Story  

Blue Velvet is an amazing story that will have you engrossed from the beginning. The Velvet Rooms is a sex club where people can go to explore and play with others. The club has different colored rooms. The members know that different types of play, activities and kink take place in each room.  

Melina is a new employee at The Velvet Rooms. She works as a bartender and loves her job. Melina grew up in the foster care system. She is dealing with issues in her past. Melina is a strong young woman.

Rowan is ex-military. He was injured and has hearing loss in one ear. Rowan is struggling with his guilt and trying to deal with his injuries. Rowan’s father has been diagnosed with cancer. Rowan must start to take over the business from his father. He go to The Velvet Rooms and meets an intriguing woman. Rowan is trying to keep the beast or his violent urges under control. 

Rowan and Melina are drawn to each other. They sneak into the blue velvet room. Melina feels that the room is like being under water. She feels that Rowan helps to calm her. He asks to blindfold Melina which she agrees to. Rowan also feels that Melina calms him. They seem to balance each other out. Where Melina is a light & upbeat spirit, Rowan is a darker mood / spirit. 

Both Rowan and Melina are broken and damaged people. They each are willing to trust and be honest with the other. Are Rowan and Melina able to heal each other? Are they what the other one needs to feel complete and safe again? 

The chemistry between Melina and Rowan is scorching hot. I love the connection between them. Blue Velvet has romance, steamy scenes, bdsm, & intriguing characters and storyline.

I found myself leery, gawking at the figure that stood before me, I wasn’t sure how to react to seeing my dead father materializing in front of me. About the Author

Heather Girton has been a creative writer since her childhood, writing creative stories and poems for the love of imagination and literacy. It started out as an outlet for personal struggles and a way to cope with them through fictional fantasy and turned into a passion and need to share her aspirations with the world. She has been passionate about storytelling and impressed by the influence it has on people and decisions they make in life. It wasn’t until 2013 that she decided to share her talent through fictional novels due to the encouragement from her family and friends.
Since graduating high school in 2006, Heather has spent the last eleven years being a dedicated mother and military spouse. In that time she nurtured a family of four children all while traveling the country following her husband’s career. I jolt awake, momentarily disoriented by the rhythmic beeping coming
from my right. Beep. Beep. Beep. Again
and again, the sound causes my temples to throb. Even though my eyes are still
pinched closed, I know this is not my room, and I am not in my bed. Without
warning, the events that led me here flash through my mind: hitting Simon’s
truck and the subsequent ambulance ride. I remember the CT scan, and being
given pain medication. I must have fallen asleep shortly after that.
I inhale deeply, trying to get my bearings, and
cringe at the smell of antiseptic hanging in the air. God, I hate hospitals.
Slowly, I try to blink my eyes open, only to
immediately close them again. Whimpering at the brightness of the room, I sink
farther into the small, firm mattress before steeling my resolve to try again.
I peel one lid open and hold it, adjusting,
before peeling the other open as well. “So bright,” I whine to myself,
squinting up at the light above me. My head feels like an entire drumline has
taken it as their practice space; the thrumming and pounding is incessant.
With all the strength I can muster, I roll my
head to face the far wall of the small hospital room, only to startle at the
sight of the most gorgeous man I’ve ever laid eyes on sleeping in the chair in
the corner, his light-brown hair messy, his chiseled jaw covered in stubble.
“S-Simon?” I whisper, more to myself than to him.
All the same, he jolts like someone took a live
wire to his skin. “You’re up?” He lunges from the chair toward me, gently taking
my hand in his, scanning my body before bringing his deep-blue eyes to mine.
“Are you—fuck, you have no idea how happy I am to see those baby-blue eyes
right now. Let me call for your doctor.”
He starts to withdraw his hand from mine, and I
let out the most pathetic whimper, halting him. “Don’t go,” I beg.
“Not going anywhere. Just gonna hit the call
button,” he assures me, leaving me feeling foolish, even though that wasn’t his
intention.
