Vulnerable and Gentle Hearts
Jane Henry has done it again. Leith is an irresistible story that will keep you captivated until the last page. Jane Henry takes readers to the Scottish mountains / Highlands. We meet the Cowan Clan. They are allies with the McCarthy Clan. The Cowan Clan has enemies of their own as well. Leith and his clan try to help those in need.
Leith is the new Clan Captain. He is still getting used to the position as well as getting the members to take him seriously. Leith is trying to make his dad proud. He is a strong, handsome, protective, alpha male with a gentle heart.
Cairistina is a woman who has been abused by her family. She lives her life in fear. Cairistina only finds a safe place at the Cathedral. Her only friend is her dog, Bailey. After some trauma, Cairistina is unable to speak. She is a fighter and is a strong, independent woman.
Leith and Cairistina have incredible chemistry. They are able to show each other their vulnerability, and that they are broken. I love their banter and humor. This story has complex & believable characters, a unique storyline and it is well written. Leith: A Dark Scottish Mafia Romance has romance, drama, suspense, action, humor, lots of emotion, and love. I absolutely love this story. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
