Smoke and Mirrors will hook you from the first page. This story is full of suspense, action, romance, love & a sexy alpha biker. This is the next book in the Demented Sons MC Series, but can be read as a standalone.
I love that the reader is given the opportunity to learn about Smoke’s (Grayson) backstory/history. It made him relatable and caused readers like me care/feel for him. Smoke is the club President and a single father. He is used to handling everything. I loved that his character had some vulnerability. and was able to show it to Nova. Smoke was a strong man with a soft & vulnerable side. It made me adore his character that much more. Smoke and Nova have great chemistry. The reader will root for them to find their happy ever after. Kristine Allen has made the reader fall in love with and become invested in Smoke & Nova.
Kristine Allen’s Smoke and Mirrors has a strong female character, shows that family doesn’t have to be blood-related, characters that refuse to give up on love, & lots of twists and turns. Smoke and Mirrors is an amazing story with great flow and storyline with well-developed characters.
